So first, the vegetables are cut. The vegetable cutting machine (BCM-1650 or BCM-2450) is extremely versatile and can cut almost any vegetable and certain other products. Among these are: chives, parsley, spring onion, flat string beans, chili peppers, leek, chicory, celery, endive, iceberg salad, lollo bionda, lettuce, pak choi, melon, onions, white cabbage, melon, carrot, cucumber, and tomatoes. The vegetable cutting machine has also many cutting options regarding cutting size and cutting type. The cutting size can easily be adjusted on the touch screen while the cutting knives are easily interchanged for a different cutting type. The vegetable cutting machine can cut in the following styles: slices, julienne strips, squares, and grating. Second, after the vegetables have been cut, they fall on the conveyor belt which transports the product into the washing tank of the vegetable washing machine. The vegetables are washed in different ways and in different stage. At the beginning, the vegetables are washed through a spiral current of water during which the vegetables will pass the fly catcher. This ensures that the product will be free of insects or other small things. Subsequently, the spiral current leads the vegetables to the vibrating sieve. At this stage the vegetables are also sprinkled. The combination of these two cleaning methods guarantees a perfectly clean product. The used washing water is filtered in the filter tank beneath the washing machine and used again as perfectly clean washing water. Third, the vibration of the sieve makes the vegetables move forward until they fall into the basket of the ACBM basket mill. This mill has optical sensors to see if the basket is full. Once the basket has reached its limit, the basket mill automatically rotates to the next empty basket without wasting any vegetables. Fourth, the full basket is taken out of the basket mill and placed into the centrifugal dryer. This vegetable dryer operates at the optimal speed to remove washing water while preserving the product and its juices.
