C’è una opportunità di arrotondare si è dimostrata più concreta di altre e ha portato più frutti di altre. È il self-publishing su Amazon. Francamente potrei parlare della mia attività e raccontarvi come è andata e cosa ho fatto, però mi sembra più interessante parlare con qualcuno che si è dedicato con più impegno e ne ha fatto una professione. Qualcuno che non ha ottenuto risultati modesti, ma qualcuno che ha raggiunto le vette di questa professione. Così ho invitato infatti Mamo Vuolo uno dei migliori self-publisher in Italia. Mamo è un pilota che ha cominciato quasi per scherzo a pubblicare i primi libri su Amazon ed ora incassa cifre da capogiro perché oltre ad aver pubblicato cenntinaia di libri, ha acquisito il giusto mindset per avere successo in questo lavoro. Credo che la sua esperienza possa essere davvero utile sia a chi sta cercando un lavoro per arrotondare, sia per chi si sta guardano attorno nella speranza di trovare una via di uscita dal lavoro in ufficio. There is no such thing as a trial run for self-publishing if your intention for a book is to query and traditionally publish it! This is a horrible misconception about the intersection between self-publishing and traditional publishing. Once you self-publish a book, you throw away your opportunity to traditionally publish that (except for very very very rare cases where you sell a button of copies). Yes, I'm talking about unicorns. But it's bad business to self-publish relying on the idea of becoming a unicorn. Self-publishing shouldn't be done half seriously.
