Among the R-rated anime out there, Blue Gender stands out with it's story and characters that make all of the dark and brutal elements even more gut wrenching. Giant insects bring humanity to the brink of extinction. Yuji, put to sleep for 20 years over an incurable disease, wakes up to what may very well be the end of his species. He must join a group of military soldiers and train with mechs in order to beat the killer insects back and save the planet. Definitely among the top anime of the early 2000s and sure fire hit for those who catch it flying under the radar!

in this episode of blue gender AT 19:00 you can see the Twin Towers of New York with what appears to be smoke (nests?) coming out of them. this episode is from BEFORE 2000, to those commenting the purpose of the imagery in the shows story line are "nests" not smoke - irrelevant, subliminal messaging is about leaving impressions upon the subconscious, in which - imagery is what matters, rationalizing finer details such as purpose to the imagery is something the conscious does. 🤍 🤍 on this topic there are many more films etc which mention the twin towers destruction years before it happened do your research you'll find it. the internet helps. 🤍 especially check this link 🤍
