Sorry to say, billionaires do not all do this and the Goverment does not treat people with wisdom nor fairly. Like others say it's nanny state, no discipline or respect anywhere. Until kids growing up know real discipline nothing will change. Eg National Service, something that would definitely get young people in some kind of discipline of life.
A billionaire saying we’re in difficult Financial Times🤣🤣🤣that got me 🙄
Sunak doesn’t respect our nation
Lovely to hear someone with too much usury helping those without
Sounds like an Amber Heard 'pledge'......
The Tories and Sunak will certainly not listen to any good sdvice tske a look at Brexit take a look at the PPE scams and LizTruss will they ever listen Absolutely no chance . Yes and the BOE have made a right mess of things .Tax the majority seems to be the only idea that the Tories have .higher taxes with every less serices and the shockiny state of the roads in the UK how much tax can you take and deliver bare minimum of services
There is no such thing as a good billionaire.
Speaking as a non billionnaire/millionaire, i also have said for years that we should be absolutely hammering forward with green and envirotech, to develope expertise, patents and technology for export. This stuff is our biggest challenge and therefore our biggest opportunity.
I hoped for something like that to be the strategy after the country chose to leave the eu, but i was not surprised that the people who decided asking the question in the first place was in any way a good idea did not then in fact have a plan, or really any idea what long term strategy even looks like, or, sadly that the public keep voting for them.
Charity means the government can avoid governing.🤔
The exodus of the UK has already begun and will continue. There is no future in the UK.
He is better than most rich people. Good for him.
All millionaires are scumbags. Imagine living so rich while a fifth of the country are in poverty, I don’t care if he gives to charity, he should be giving everything bar what he needs to live on if he’s truly charitable.
We are in tough times because of Tory policies
Finally someone who realises that as a billionaire, paying taxes and donating money still leaves him with a wonderful amount of money. People take note 👌🏻
👏👏👏👏good man
Sounds like a davos goon especially pushing for labour who are now technically the new Tory party
"during or after my lifetime"
I thought we learnt our lesson on the difference between "pledged" and "donated" courtesy of miss heard
Interesting interview. Interesting person. I like his view on things.
