Zürich is the largest city of Switzerland and one of the most visited places in the country. Zürich is very beautiful but at the same time often ranks on the top of the world’s most expensive cities. Nevertheless, Zürich can be explored on an easy walking tour. Walk around the Limmatquai, roam around the old city of Zürich; simple and easy tour on a budget. Very pretty is the Augustinergasse, this alluring alley with its many flags and colorful houses. The Limmatquai has some great photospots, especially at the Hotel Restaurant Storchen it's nice to take some photos. The lookout point at the Lindenhof is just in the middle of the old city and provides a great view over the Limmatquai, ETH and the University of Zürich. You may also see the Grossmünster (grand minster), which is the centre of the Swiss Reformation. Paradeplatz is the centre of Swiss banking, worth to just walk by and then proceed to the Fraumünster, one of Zurich's major churches. Then, cross the bridge and head to the Bellevue, which is at the lake front. On sunny days, you may see the snow mountains and many people are going to be around. The Sechseläuten square is just nearby. There, you may see the Opera house. Visit also the Niederdörfli, the best preserved part of Zurich's old city. There are many guilder houses (Zünfte) that play an important role in the history and culture of Zurich. They will march on a yearly base through the centre of Zürich on the festival called Sechseläuten. All in all, it's easy to explore Zurich just by walk and even without having to pay any entrance fee; thus an easy tour for budget travelers! After catching some sunset vibes we end our ride at Zurichberg high above the City. Zürich is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zürich. It is located in north-central Switzerland, at the northwestern tip of Lake Zürich. As of January 2023 the municipality had 443,037 inhabitants, the urban area 1.315 million and the Zürich metropolitan area 1.83 million. Zürich is a hub for railways, roads, and air traffic. Both Zurich Airport and Zürich's main railway station are the largest and busiest in the country. This really ruined my experience and is such a shame as Switzerland is such a beautiful place, however nobody has manners. The main place where the staff are rude and told me to go back to my country was gusthaus zwirgi. The reviews are awful and I wish I checked before going in. Other than that I still enjoyed my time.
