Poland has suggested it will no longer provide weapons to Ukraine. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki made the comments after days of antagonistic statements between the two countries. He told a Polish television station: "We are no longer transferring weapons to Ukraine, because we are now arming Poland with more modern weapons." Tensions were sparked by the Polish decision to ban imports of Ukrainian grain. The flames were then fanned by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's speech at the United Nations, in which he accused countries of feigning solidarity with Ukraine. We try to make sense of this with Marcin Zaborowski. There’s no end in sight for the dispute between Poland and Ukraine over Warsaw’s extension of the grain import embargo. At the UN General Assembly in New York City, Presidents Duda and Zelenskyy exchanged arguments on the matter. And while the two countries remain close allies, the issue has devolved into a political showdown. Meanwhile, Russia launched yet another wave of drone strikes at Ukraine, this time targeting an oil refinery in Poltava region. We spoke to our correspondent in Kyiv, Oz Katerji, who had the latest. After months of rising tensions in Armenian-controlled Nagorno-Karabakh in the South Caucasus, Azerbaijan this week sent troops backed by artillery strikes into the Armenian-controlled Nagorno-Karabakh region in an attempt to bring the breakaway region to heel. Separatist Armenian forces in Nagorno-Karabakh have said they have agreed to the terms of a ceasefire proposed by Russia after suffering a series of battlefield setbacks at the hands of the Azerbaijani army. Our correspondent Kim Yeon-seung reports. Clear for take off. Flying high in the skies above Yecheon with the South Korean aircraft TA-50, are pilots not from South Korea, but from Poland. "These pilots have traveled more than 8,000 kilometers away from their home country to hone their craft with Korean jets." Last year, Poland penned a deal with Korea Aerospace Industries to buy 48 of their fighter jets, the FA-50. With the new fleet comes the need for a fresh set of skills to fly these aircraft. And that's why these Polish pilots are here. With four months of rigorous training, they've graduated from the trainer versions of the FA-50, the unarmed T-50 and the more advanced TA-50. The pilots have been tested in simulated missions to better prepare them for combat situations. The complex training required a high level of communication and cooperation from both the Korean and Polish pilots. "We've trained to showcase South Korea's superior flight system and domestic jets globally. We hope our FA-50 PL and training contributes to Poland's air defense." The Polish pilots were particularly impressed by the Korean jets' ergonomic design, swift acceleration, and responsive maneuverability. But what they've gained in South Korea extends beyond new flight skills. Friendships have been forged and cultures exchanged. "The Polish pilot team received not only new flight skills in Korea but also discovered some kind of incredible Korean culture, many many opportunity to find out some kind of new things in Korea" As Poland expects its first FA-50 jets to undergo flight tests in July and be delivered to Warsaw in August, these pilots are expected to be home in time for those jets' arrival.
