Mission Dungeon has arrived but with it a extremely brutal fight. Thankfully the turn count requirement is quite generous here. Ciaran Restrictions: - Multiple BT Effects from different characters are not allowed. I.E Y'shtola BT+ Effect and then Yuna BT Effect. - Ciaran can not be swapped out for the friend unit - At most, only one synergy/featured unit can be brought to a stage(excluding Calls, World of illusions, and Friend Unit if necessary) Lets delve into this fight. This fight is against the Eiko Event boss, the ghost priests. Which the main boss will hide itself from all damage until its adds are dead. Which the boss can resummon these adds after they die upon its next turn. But this is problematic as the orb requires the boss to take a turn due to the main orb condition requiring Sap/Poison damage. The other condition being to break the boss, which normally Vayne could abuse. But at HP Thresholds the boss will warp its turn ahead. This being at 79%, 59%, and 39% HP. However, the boss doesn't cleanse its debuffs so you can just; stun it. Agrias here works wonderfully to shutting this boss down. Ramuh summon being extra safety to ensure it works. Defenses here are abit high so I also ended up resorting to a brv gain styled form of damage through Vaan. Which helps with this stage having only 70% BRV Gain Reductions at max. Overall scary fight. But the generous turn count requirement means you can afford the boss to summon its adds once or twice if you have adequate damage. #dffoo #dff_oo #operaomnia #finalfantasy

Ciaran is an Aurabot, there is nothing much to him than providing your team with absurb stats boost offensive and defensive. With his LD only, his provide the standard stats boost, his BT provide Brv Gain, more HP Dmg Up, more OF, and Hp Dmg Cap up by 25%, including his armor, total of 40% Hp Dmg Cap up. On par with Garnet. If you do not have both Garnet and Ramza, or only either one of those, then Ciaran is a good pick. Nothing better than stacking those HP Dmg Up. His kit overall doesn't deal too much damage and most of them are split, but he has the buff and stat to make up for it to the point his split damage is more like full AOE atk. While his damage may not be the best but the Hp Dmg Cap up that he provide does cover for that. Regarding his rotation, his EX charge in 2 turns and have 3 hp dump, his S2 holyra strike has 4 HP dump but with limited use. Short fight, Spam LD and Holyrastrike and EX to refresh his buff. Free skill on AA Long fight, use EX everytime it is up and free skill from LD should be use on Holyrastrike or AA

He was slammed against many lockers, and was totally turned down by the Witch of Izalith when he asked her to prom. But the Pygmy understood how to play the long con, and set a dark plan in motion: to have sex with countless numbers of zombies. Like, thousands of them. No butterface was too stank for the Furtive Dick, in those days. From this long period of weird, secret corpse fucking, there arose all of humanity. All humans today are descendents of a single corpse fucker. The gods - descendents of the other three Lords - were totally freaked out by this. From their big ass ancient city, they would rule over this sea of incestuous corpse fucking murder-happy pedophile weirdos, who also were all midgets. This would later be known as the glorious Age of Fire. Eventually, the gods would leave the capital of this age of horrifying sexual frenzy. Human historians would be totally confused as to why. And so was set, the stage for the possible beginning of a new, Dark Age. Where supposedly it'll still be corpse fucking, but without light? I guess? Set forth, noble sex weirdo, to claim your birthright and fulfill the dark wishes of the Furtive Pygmy. It'll be rad. Probably.

I.E Y'shtola BT+ Effect and then Yuna BT Effect. - Ciaran can not be swapped out for the friend unit - At most, only one synergy/featured unit can be brought to a stage(excluding Calls, World of illusions, and Friend Unit if necessary) - Still unsure but likely will stay: Garnet is banned both in main and as friend until Shinryu difficulty. Lufenia Orb: Appears: When Recast is full Disappears: Megaflare+ is used or when power is lost Increase: +10 when Count Target takes 300k HP DMG on same ally's 2nd turn. Dark Bahamut returns and with it an Hope manikin that is extremely tanky. The manikin will swap from left to right at thresholds while also buffing physical and magic brv damage reductions. Like before, Bahamut will counter with Curaga (heals 25% of its max hp) and Megaflare so don't summon unless you plan to kill Bahamut. Bahamut's Orb in this fight doesn't stick around all the time, rather instead when its recast is full. And periodically will instantly fill its Recast at thresholds. While the orb is up, Bahamut can't be delayed/deleted and will use Megaflare+ if it gets a turn (which will also get rid of the orb). Fulfilling the Orb requirements though will not only cancel Megaflare+, but also get rid of the Orb altogether until the next time the Recast is full. Units like Ursula, Alisaie, Papalymo are a few examples that can handle this orb reliably. Second Lufenia+ with Ciaran, and the Defense of these bosses are really showing for non-synergy units. Which is what I built around for Zidane in order to improve his damage here in this run as he is synergy. Before listing the DEF Downs that this run had, the Ciaran Restrictions. - Multiple BT Effects from different characters are not allowed. I.E Y'shtola BT+ Effect and then Yuna BT Effect. -Ciaran can not be swapped out for the friend unit -At most, only one synergy/featured unit can be brought to a stage(excluding Calls, World of illusions, and Friend Unit if necessary) Now thats out of the way, the Defense Downs. This Stage features 90% BRV Damage and BRV Gain Reductions. Which for BRV Gain Units is quite alot. But like from Pandemonium Lufenia+, the bosses now have even more DEF then before as it gains more DEF on HP Thresholds. So, Ignore Defense Units end up being quite handy to use. But DEF Down Stacking is another option. This run give or take has about 230-250% DEF Down in total! - Zidane High Armor having 20% DEF Down, his Def Down being 50%. - Shantotto Calls having 50% and 20%* respectively. * Board Passives give another 20% DEF Down to Accursed Gaze but I wasn't sure if it applied to the Call - Jack LD Call having another 50% DEF Down (and 30% BRV Damage Taken Up) - And lastly, Yuffie LD Call provides another 40% DEF Down if the enemies have 8 debuffs on! Overall, with all the DEF Down, it meant that Zidane ended up hitting consistently hard. One mistake this run has though was Zidane's BT Phase and BT Finisher. I ended up holding onto them too long so the BT effect could have been up much sooner and lasted much longer. The Orb here has two conditionals. +5 When Count Target takes increased HP Damage via Debuff(HP Damage Taken Up) +1 When Count Target takes Earth Damage The only Earth Enchanters being Guy and Gau. While HP Damage Taken Up options(due to this stage being Elemental Imperil immuned) being Gabranth, Agrias, Cinque, Aerith, Eald'narche(for self), and Arciela(for self). Due to me wanting to stack DEF Down, I could have opted for Aerith for another huge boost in DEF Down due to her LD buff. But I decided to go for Agrias as she helps combat some of the BRV Gain Reductions, and I can get the HP Damage Taken Up debuff on turn one. #dffoo #dff_oo #operaomnia #finalfantasy

Shelke Event has arrived and with it the Dragonfly boss. This boss has a interesting gimmick to it that normally doesn't let it be harmed. However thanks to Agrias, we can. But first, restrictions. Ciaran Restrictions: - Multiple BT Effects from different characters are not allowed. I.E Y'shtola BT+ Effect and then Yuna BT Effect. - Ciaran can not be swapped out for the friend unit - At most, only one synergy/featured unit can be brought to a stage(excluding Calls, World of illusions, and Friend Unit if necessary) So, this gimmick that the boss does is it will have 100% evasion while its add is up. This gets cancelled either when the add dies, or after it gets a turn in. Which if the add moves, will turn swap the main boss' turn forward. Which the attack the boss uses if the add is up is a 100% aoe HP attack. We can however tank this attack through the use of Last Stand or HP Damage Reduction so its not a scary attack by any means. Now, Agrias can cheese this extremely hard. As if Agrias uses Faded Moly to apply her debuff (which has Confusion! attached), the boss when it summons its adds again at HP Thresholds, will be able to be harmed as if it couldn't evade attacks. The Orb here ties into Shelke's LD as that restores all abilities for her. Appears: 79% HP Increase by +12 when Player restores 2 abilities or more on the same turn An ability restore orb. Normally simple, but it involves +2 ability restore instead. There are thankfully a good few options that can fulfill this. Prompto LD, Agrias LD, Vayne EX, Y'shtola EX. And several other units through the use of AAs. Compare to the last two fights, this fight was a breather in comparison. Shadow LD and rework drop, and the CPU Boss has returned. One note worthy comment before description though: Kimahri for whatever reason lags my game so the start of Zidane BT phase and Summon Phase has been sped up at these times. Ciaran Restrictions: - Multiple BT Effects from different characters are not allowed. I.E Y'shtola BT+ Effect and then Yuna BT Effect. - Ciaran can not be swapped out for the friend unit - At most, only one synergy/featured unit can be brought to a stage(excluding Calls, World of illusions, and Friend Unit if necessary) I normally don't say "x stage is easy" but, this stage felt incredibly easy that I fear I can't properly go into the boss details in this video in full analysis. From what I personally gathered, the Attack Node's attacks will inflict framed debuffs to the party, while batterying the enemy party. Defense Node will heal the enemy party and give framed buffs, but isn't a threat overall. While the CPU like before enrages if both nodes die before it. Which it gains turn delete immunity, cleanses it debuffs and gain temporary debuff immunity. The Orb has two conditions, both of them Shadow can fulfill. For reference on who has it, only the CPU (main node) has it. So if it dies, thats it for the orb. Appears: At Start of Battle Increases by +6 when player evades Increases by +1 when Count Target receives damage that Ignores defense Shadow naturally can evade attacks and can guaranteed it with his AA. His S2/LD and Interceptor follow-ups ignore defense. But using Blind debuffs like Kimahri's Total Blindness can also fulfill the orb as it guarantees that the enemy party misses it's attacks. Hoo boy this stage. This stage to say the least is really annoying without Quistis. Before I delve more, restrictions. - Multiple BT Effects from different characters are not allowed. I.E Y'shtola BT+ Effect and then Yuna BT Effect. - Ciaran can not be swapped out for the friend unit - At most, only one synergy/featured unit can be brought to a stage(excluding Calls, World of illusions, and Friend Unit if necessary) This Lufenia+ stage to say the least is tailored for Quistis LD due to one particular thing. Shining Tears or otherwise the 700k HP Regen that occurs ON YOUR turns. To cancel it? Delay the target by 3 turns. Which only two units, Quistis and Cloud of Darkness has. This regen effect occurs at the start of battle, 49%, and 29% HP. What really makes this hard is that they also get shields which while up gives the bosses turn delay immunity. This occurs at 79% HP, and 29% HP. But is mainly noticable at 29% HP. I unfortunately lack CoD's LD weapon so I had to make due with Quistis but you can run Quistis even without her LD here but you'll have to watch your S2 uses very carefully. The Orb here is a delay Orb. +1 when target is delayed by 1 turn +10 when target is delayed by 2 or more turns Overall, we have a few options for +2 turn delays but Quistis and CoD are still our only options for 3 turn delay. If running LD-less Quistis, you want to focus the bosses one at a time in order to keep the orb on one target at a time. Final mentions on this stage are a few things. While 700k HP regen is alot of health being recovered, this stage has not that much health in general (7 mil per target). And lastly, BRV Gain Reductions are actually lower on this stage as well. Being at a max of 50% BRV Gain Reductions. Which with Quistis LD here giving 20% BRV Gain Up, allows our party to have high BRV Gains at the end. Unrelated note on the stage but Quistis EX is bugged?
