After getting drawn a majority of the ire from the public related to the HLS tug of war in 2021, Blue Origin has now quietly been making huge progress on its orbital New Glenn vehicle. Is Jeff Bezos trying to catch up with SpaceX in 2023? Let’s expose everything about this in today’s episode of Great SpaceX: 2022 is really an absent year for Jeff Bezos in the space industry. No more claims or challenges to Elon Musk. The result is the company completed the delivery of BE-4 rocket engines for the first ULA Vulcan launch. The delivery to ULA’s factory in Alabama comes two years later than the schedule. Anyway, this is a big success for Blue Origin. For the next important project, the space community recently discovered that Blue Origin has published a photo of a "New Glenn Stage 1 Qualification Tank inside the Tank Cleaning and Processing Facility", which was taken on November 22, 2022. Well, the long-awaited beginning of hardware-rich New Glenn development appears to have finally arrived, and it’s possible that Blue Origin’s first orbital-class rocket could finally start picking up momentum towards its launch debut. Previously, among the items spotted were a second stage, a partially assembled interstage, an aft thrust section that houses the landing legs, multiple payload fairings, and a variety of domes and welded tank parts. Also at LC-36, the self-propelled modular transporter used to transport the transporter was moved into the horizontal integration facility on Dec. 2. It’s possible that Blue Origin plans to roll its Glenn Stage 1 simulator out to the launch pad for the first time. Blue Origin New Glenn made HUGE PROGRESS try to catch up SpaceX 2023... New Shepard’s 23rd mission, a dedicated payloads flight, will fly 36 payloads from academia, research institutions, and students across the globe. The launch window opens at 8:30 AM CDT / 13:30 UTC from Launch Site One in West Texas. This mission brings the total number of commercial payloads flown on the vehicle to more than 150. Two payloads will fly on the exterior of the New Shepard booster for ambient exposure to the space environment. Eighteen payloads on this flight are funded by NASA, primarily by the Flight Opportunities Program. Among the NS-23 payloads are tens of thousands of postcards from Blue Origin’s nonprofit, Club for the Future, whose Postcards to Space program enables people around the world to fly their visions to space on New Shepard.

Blue origin rocket launch LIVE fail today September 12, 2022. Jeff bezos rocket company blue origin had a rocket launch today. the main booster failed and started to self destruct then the crew capsule launched away to safety. This was at the blue origin amazon Texas launch facility. not to be confused with the actual rocket company SpaceX run by elon musk.
Disaster! Blue Origin BE-3, BE-4 is totally FAILURE... Never BEAT SpaceX!!! Bezos founded Blue Origin with visionary goals. Inspired by the late Princeton futurist Gerard K O’Neill, Bezos dreams of moving heavy industry off of Earth and into space to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. He wants to lay the foundation for an extra-terrestrial economy where thousands of people are living and working in space. This is the most Jeff's darling. Bezos had invested US$1 billion a year in this space company. However, that doesn't mean it will be successful. Instead, Blue Origin is grappling with its pile of delayed missions. Notably, it's been a long time since we've seen Bezos say anything about Blue Origin. Is Bezos slowly giving up on B.O? Find out everything about this in today's episode of Alpha Tech: Blue Origin, after four years of halting work, has fully abandoned a transport ship it once intended to convert into a landing platform for its orbital-class New Glenn rocket. Known as Stena Freighter at the time of sale, Blue Origin purchased the ship for an undisclosed sum – likely several million dollars – sometime in mid-2018. Aside from a flashy, December 2020 re-christening ceremony in which Blue Origin owner Jeff Bezos named the vessel Jacklyn after his late mother, the private aerospace company left the ship largely untouched in a Florida port. Small teams of workers would occasionally work on retrofitting the roll-on/roll-off cargo ship for a future life as a rocket recovery asset but made very little visible progress despite working on Jacklyn for several years. Disaster! Blue Origin BE-3, BE-4 is totally FAILURE... Never BEAT SpaceX!!!
Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket experienced an anomaly a little over a minute after an uncrewed launch from the company's West Texas site on Sept. 12, 2022. The capsule can be seen blasting away from the booster after its crew escape system was engaged. Full Story: 🤍 It carried 36 education-focused experiments, including 24 payloads from "K-12 schools, universities and STEM-focused organizations," according to Blue Origin. Credit: Blue Origin
Blue Origin was seen testing fairings for New Glenn in the water at the Kennedy Space Center turn basin. From the latest investigation into their operations in Florida, it looks like they are planning to expand their operations even further but neither NASA nor blue origin has confirmed this publicly. Blue Origin’s actual plan was to land New Glenn’s first stage on a converted cargo ship, named Jacklyn. Currently, they have towed it out of the Port of Pensacola and sent it to the Port of Brownsville, where the ship is due to be scrapped. With the debut launch of New Glenn slipping further and further, it’s pointless to predict the launch date. Earlier the company stated that the first launch of New Glenn will be held in 2020 and later they publicly announced delays on three occasions: to 2021 in late 2018, to the fourth quarter of 2022 in early 2021, and to no earlier than Q4 2023 in March 2022. In my speculation, the postponement could reach up to 2024 or even further considering their current development phase. In conclusion, we could now hope for the various pre-flight testing of New Glenn - like SpaceX starship prototypes in the coming months!

Any chance to beat SpaceX & Elon? VABG : 🤍 Outer space and its potential are no longer the stuff of science fiction as the space industry advances and lower costs lead more and more businesses to look to the stars for new opportunities. Billionaires like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson as well as governments have doubled down on pumping money into satellites, asteroid mining and space tourism. However, the space industry, as its name, is fraught with dangers. Success is there but failure is more! A prime example here is Blue Origin! Jeff Bezos' space company has had a rough year! Jeff Bezos’ rocket company suffered its first launch failure on Sept. 12. The Blue Origin rocket veered off course over West Texas about a minute after liftoff. The capsule’s launch abort system immediately kicked in, lifting the craft off the top. Several minutes later, the capsule parachuted onto the remote desert floor. Blue Origin’s launch commentary went silent when the capsule catapulted off the rocket, later announcing: “It appears we’ve experienced an anomaly with today’s flight. This wasn’t planned.” A little bit of luckily, no one was aboard, only science experiments. Regardless, the accident also raises significant concerns about the company's only operating vehicle. What if “a different day with a different mission, this vehicle’s anomaly could have put human lives in danger.” That’s why the FAA got involved, grounding the rocket and launching an investigation. Since then, we haven't seen any Blue Origin launch! Blue Origin Upgrade Update 2023 is here…!!! Any chance to beat SpaceX & Elon? What Rocket Lab just did is totally humiliated Blue Origin after SpaceX... In the space race, no doubt SpaceX is the leader, miles ahead. However, in distant 2nd place is Rocket Lab, even beating out Bezos Blue Origin. Blue Origin has yet to orbit. Jeff Bezos' Rocket went to space—But not to orbit. They were planning to launch New Glenn by 2020 but the current schedule is first to launch no earlier than the fourth quarter of 2023. Meanwhile, Rocket Labs has 32 launches under its belt, 29 of which were successful. The Electron rocket can place 150-300 kilograms into orbit. The lower payload for a sun-synchronous orbit and the higher payload for a low earth orbit. Rocket Labs plans a Falcon 9 class rocket with a new Neutron rocket. Rocket Labs plans to launch the Neutron by 2024. Well, I’m talking about getting to "space" vs. orbit. This is how Elon Musk describes it: "One of the toughest things that are really hard to explain to people is orbit versus space. Getting to space is easy. Getting into orbit is hard. It’s 100 times harder to get to orbit than to get to what you’d call, in quotes, "space." Which is, say, the Karman line at 100 kilometers, which is an arbitrary point at which the atmosphere is fairly thin." Neil deGrasse Tyson also said that Blue is not really going to "space" they're flying to slightly higher than where planes go. They experience some weightless less but that is all. The difference is so obvious! More seriously, what Rocket Lab just did is totally humiliated Blue Origin after SpaceX... Find out everything about this in today's episode of Alpha Tech: Like Elon Musk, Peter Beck – the founder of Rocket Lab – doesn’t have the academic pedigree one would expect. Elon only has bachelor's degrees in economics and physics, not aerospace engineering. Peter is even more unconventional, as he is a rocket scientist with no college degree whatsoever! In 1995, he worked as a tool-and-die-maker apprentice at Fisher & Paykel. He used his employer’s workshop to tinker on the side with rockets, making everything from rocket bikes to jet packs. From there he was able to purvey his career in product design and engineering, raking up a cornucopia of knowledge on smart materials, composites, and propulsion systems. This New Zealand native then founded Rocket Lab in 2006. He secured a crucial seed investment from the aptly named Mark Rocket, a fellow New Zealander who had made his riches online. Within just 3 years, the company successfully reached the Karman line of space with their multi-stage rocket, Ātea-1. So yeah, the next time someone tells you college is a necessity, tell them about this guy who got to space in 3 years with just a high school education. What Rocket Lab just did is totally humiliated Blue Origin after SpaceX...
Blue Origin is trying to create a next generation launch vehicle capable of competing with the ever growing space industry. For around a decade now, the company has been developing, manufacturing, and testing different components of this rocket. While Blue Origin has kept the majority of its development behind closed doors, we do know about some of its recent progress and what they are working on. This comes in addition to more progress related to the BE-4 engine which will play a key role in the future capabilities, consistency, and refurbishment of New Glenn. Standing at 98 meters tall and 7 meters wide, this two stage partially reusable rocket is massive. A very ambitious jump for Blue Origin which so far has only launched New Shepard. Combine this with the goal to land and reuse New Glenn’s booster on a drone ship out at sea, and it highlights the immense amount of work necessary for this program. All of which Blue Origin is trying to complete in a timely manner and begin routine missions to Earth orbit and beyond. Here I will go more in-depth into recent New Glenn developments, the launch vehicle’s design, what to expect in the future, and more. Jeff Bezos On The Run As BE 4 Explosion Bankrupts Blue Origin Blue Origin's continuous failures will finally be exposed today. Jeff Bezos, the company's founder, had the ambition to transport humans to the moon and probably dominate it. But after the company faced severe failures that became very consistent, Jeff at some point got confused about where the company is heading. He may have lost focus and decided to step down as CEO and hand over to Andy Jassy. The question now is that; Is Jeff Bezos giving up on landing the New Glenn rocket on the moon? Bezos has been mute on activities that are going on in Blue Origin, contrary to how Elon behaves toward SpaceX. Is Jeff Bezos escaping from all the challenges in Blue Origin? In the time since New Glenn was first announced, plenty has changed. A lot of which is the result of Blue Origin trying to make sure this next-generation launch vehicle is as effective and competitive as possible. As development of the rocket continues, other projects within the space industry also change and make progress. Something Blue Origin has to consider and is trying to actively work on. In the last couple of weeks, we have seen some examples of additional reusability of this rocket. Right now, the company is working on reusing New Glenn’s fairings. The Falcon 9 fairings for example cost around $6 million. Based on the size and material used for Blue Origin’s, it likely costs a decent bit more. Enough to warrant a lot of tests and the implementation of new reuse strategies. This comes in addition to New Glenn upper-stage reusability testing or project Jarvis. Not to mention the booster, which will be a feat in itself for the company to safely land and refurbish. Here I will go more in-depth into New Glenn’s reusability plans, the changes that have been made over time, what to expect going forward, and more. Jeff Bezos On The Run As Blue Origin Failure "BE-4 Engine"...??? “The only way that I can see to deploy this much financial resource is by converting my Amazon winnings into space travel. Watch as Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket company launches NS-14 into orbit. Blue Origin is testing the cabin it will use to send passengers into space.
New Glenn is expected to be a substantial future launch vehicle and the backbone of Blue Origin’s goals. For years now, the rocket has been under development as the company tries to determine exactly what they want out of the heavy lift launch vehicle. Since its original announcement, many of its core features have changed as Blue Origin shifts the goal and purpose of New Glenn. This being said, New Glenn is still expected to be one of the most powerful rockets in the industry and launch quite consistently. While progress has not been the fastest, Blue Origin is working to get the BE-4 engine ready, booster reusability planned out, and more. All of which will have an impact on not only the schedule of New Glenn, but what the rocket has to offer when complete. With an estimated 45,000 kilogram payload capactiy to low Earth orbit, and work to reuse the booster and possibly the upper stage, New Glenn is far from a simple rocket. In the last few months alone we have seen some more progress and general work on the project. Here I will go more in-depth into what Blue Origin has been working on, a closer look at New Glenn, what to expect in the near future, and more. Blue Origin has been around longer than SpaceX, but they're a lot more secretive about their technology and the things they've built. I wanted to make an overview of the 6 different rocket engines they're designed and tested and the vehicles that have been propelled by them.
At Blue Origin, our genuine passion for space exploration is evident through the work we do. We’re looking for people who share that passion and want to turn their career into a calling. We're shaping our future in space and we’re looking for dedicated and inspired people to join us.
New Glenn is a next generation launch vehicle hoping to provide Blue Origin with both powerful and consistent capabilities. For around a decade, since 2012 this rocket has been under development. Unfortunately, unlike many other projects within the space industry, Blue Origin has kept very quiet throughout this time period in regard to progress and different milestones related to this launch vehicle. On the bright side, they have been a lot more open with core components such as the BE-4 engine, and we still have learned more about progress through various sources. This includes new fairing tests that were recently completed, in addition to other news. Not to mention the first launch of Vulcan using two BE-4 engines right around the corner. All of which are valuable aspects of New Glenn’s future and exactly what Blue Origin plans. It’s also important to point out that the New Glenn project is quite ambitious and Blue Origin still has a lot of work left before the first launch. Here I will go more in-depth into some of the recent tests we saw, BE-4 engine progress, what to expect in the future, and more. Blue Origin's Ex-employees just humiliated Jeff Bezos - Relativity Space! Huge thanks to: RoBossBomb: 🤍 thelonelycatproject: 🤍 Luke: 🤍 = This is truly a remarkable case in the space-rocket industry! Two former Blue Origin employees inspired by SpaceX left the company and founded another rocket company that completely knocked out the old one. They even have big plans to unseat SpaceX as the ruler of a booming industry. How crazy is their plan? How exactly do they humiliate Blue Origin? Let's expose more and more about this in today's episode of the Alpha tech channel. But first, Hit the Like button and don't forget to subscribe. You might be surprised, but behind SpaceX, the world's second most valuable space company is not Blue Origin or Virgin Galactic, it's 3D-printing rocket startup Relativity Space. The company aims to eventually help colonize Mars. Relativity Space was founded by Ellis in 2015 with chief technology officer, Jordan Noone. Interestingly, Ellis worked on 3D-printed rocket components at Blue Origin, the space company founded by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in 2000. But not Blue Origin, Elon Musk’s space company, SpaceX, is his inspiration, Ellis shared: “I was inspired by watching SpaceX land rockets and dock with the International Space Station six years ago,” he said. After SpaceX, Relativity is “only the second space company in two decades” with the mission of making humanity multi-planetary and going to Mars. However, "in every SpaceX animation, we saw a fade into black right when people walked out of the rocket on Mars," Ellis said. "So, what was clear [is] that there needed to be some other company building humanity's industrial base on Mars. Replicating the infrastructure for a million people that live on Mars is a massive undertaking, and I think a lot of people need to work on it." As a result, Relativity seeks to do this by pushing forward 3D-printing technology. Ellis intends to disrupt the long-standing aerospace practice of using fixed tooling to manufacture rockets, which are then finished using a hands-on process of adding thousands of parts. Ultimately, Relatively hopes to use what it learns about printing rockets on Earth to additively manufacture habitats and other materials on the surface of Mars. Even as Relativity Space seeks to augment the efforts by Musk and SpaceX to make humans a multi-planetary species, the company is also directly competing with its much more established rival. If successfully developed, the Terran R would challenge SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket for both government and commercial launch contracts. However, Ellis said it would be a mistake to compare the Terran R rocket to the Falcon 9. The vehicle should be thought of more like a miniature version of SpaceX's Starship rocket, with an upper stage that could transfer payloads through space, to the Moon and perhaps even Mars. In terms of appearances, too, it resembles Starship more than the Falcon 9. Blue Origin's Ex-employees just humiliated Jeff Bezos - Relativity Space!

Do you like Blue Origin? As an observer in the space industry for quite a long time, we realize that whenever we discuss an issue related to Blue Origin, good or bad, people are strongly furious. Love it or hate it, there's definitely a reason. So, let's analyze why Blue Origin has so many anti-fans in today's episode of Alpha Tech: First of all, obviously, Bezos personally is no stranger to success. He controls Amazon, the biggest online commerce store ever known to man, which he founded. Of course, he stepped down from the role of CEO later last year but he was doing so as the richest man on earth. Bezos also has a media empire with his ownership of The Washington Post. Coming down to Blue Origin, a commercial space flight company the billionaire founded in 2000, success is not completely unheard of there either. The company is on record to have successfully landed its New Shepard rocket vertically after it returned from space, that is, the rocket landed upright on its legs. The boosters were even reused and has a total of 6 crew flights so far. Pretty cool achievement. Sadly, that’s all Blue Origin can boast of, despite the backing of its billionaire founder. They're really pitiful, right? So why everyone hates them? Jeff Bezos finally realizes Why many HATE Blue Origin... but adore SpaceX & Elon Musk

And what’s moreMore pitifully, comparinge this to how utterly insane of an achievement SpaceX's 150 consecutively successful launches has been - while simultaneously going from 0 to 117 booster reuses - it really does put salt on the woundreally is. Anyway, what exactly happened with the Blue Origin New Shepard flight? And hHow did the FAA react to this explosion? Let’s find out in dive right into today’s episode of the Alpha Tech channel: Blue Origin New Shepard suffered its first launch failure on Monday when the main engine on the New Shepard booster appeared to cut out about a minute after liftoff from West Texas. Luckily, the crew capsule, which carried NASA-funded experiments but no people, safely landed under parachutes after firing an abort motor to escape the stricken booster. Blue Origin’s live webcast showed the rocket lifting off from the company’s sprawling 80,000-acre launch facility north of Van Horn, Texas, around 10:26 a.m. EDT, after a nearly hour-long delay. A single hydrogen-fueled BE-3 engine powered the 60-foot-tall (18-meter) booster off the launch pad. About a minute after liftoff, as the rocket neared supersonic speed, the plume from the BE-3 engine appeared to change color and shape, then the powerplant appeared to shut down, causing the rocket to tilt off its planned trajectory at an altitude of around 28,000 feet (8,500 meters). The solid-fueled abort motor on the bottom of the crew capsule fired immediately, delivering an instant pulse of 70,000 pounds of thrust to push the craft away from the failing rocket. The four-ton capsule spun around and tumbled after the abort motor’s brief firing, which propelled the vehicle hundreds of feet away from the New Shepard rocket. Guided by reaction control system thrusters, the capsule’s motion stabilized as it deployed three drogue parachutes and three main chutes for a relatively gentle ride back to the ground. The capsule was designed to touch down at a speed of around 3 mph (5 kilometers per hour). Just happened! Blue Origin's engine problem, blast the capsule away from booster during launch

What Jeff's Blue Origin had done 2022 is like nothing & embarrassing compared to SpaceX Outer space and its potential are no longer the stuff of science fiction as the space industry advances and lower costs lead more and more businesses to look to the stars for new opportunities. Billionaires like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson as well as governments have doubled down on pumping money into satellites, asteroid mining, and space tourism. However, the space industry, as its name, is fraught with dangers. Success is there but failure is more! A prime example here is Blue Origin! Jeff Bezos' space company has had a rough year! And indeed, what Jeff's Blue Origin had done in 2022 is totally embarrassing compared to its rival, SpaceX. Find out everything about this in today's episode of Alpha Tech: But first, we must confess that while every step of SpaceX is always cared for and watched by the whole world, Blue Origin is less transparent. However, they still have provided a few updates over time regarding their launch vehicle and plans for the future. We don't know why, but maybe that's all they have. Now, let's start with the biggest success that B.O. has been waiting for the past eight years: BE-4. In late October, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space venture said it has finally completed delivery of the two BE-4 rocket engines that will be used next year for the first launch of United Launch Alliance’s next-generation Vulcan Centaur rocket. The delivery to ULA’s factory in Alabama comes five years later than the schedule called for when ULA chose Blue Origin as the engine supplier for the Vulcan first-stage booster in 2014. In a tweet, United Launch Alliance CEO Tory Bruno said one of the engines has already been placed on the booster, and the other one “will join it momentarily.” What Jeff's Blue Origin had done 2022 is like nothing & embarrassing compared to SpaceX

Luego regresarán a nuestro planeta. #BlueOrigin #Espacio #NewShepard

Whatever your thoughts on this, it marks a fascinating point in human history. In the past, the space race was exclusively a contest or collaboration of nations. But now, private companies are beginning to enter the fray. Why this sudden change? And what does this mean for the future of space travel and exploration, now that businesses are starting to look to the stars? What might it mean for humanity’s future? Elon Musk has always made it clear that he intends to one day see a colony on Mars, and in 2001 his company conceptualised greenhouses that might grow plants there. Any such colony will no doubt need supplies from earth, particularly in its early days, as vital equipment and personnel would need to be transported over. Any company with the largescale capability to transport heavy weights between Earth and Mars would stand to make a lot of money. In 2001 Musk attempted to buy rockets that might start the process of getting supplies to Mars, but realised that it would be cheaper to create his own. space tourism #spacex #blueorigin #virgingalactic #spacetourism
