There was already a mall in Heartlake City but that was obviously sooooooo 2014 so it's been demolished and there's a shiny new one now for 2021. Lego Friends Heartlake City Shopping Mall 41450 includes Emma's entire family, including siblings that we've never even heard of before. There's a tech store (with a new pink game controller 😍), a music shop and a boba tea (or bubble tea, which do you even call it?) shop right at the very top. Today is the day for the grand opening in Heartlake City and the friends partner up with each other to complete their tasks. A mixed bag here IMO some great sets and some meh sets but I have to say LEGO Friends are just getting better and better every wave they release. I do hope that TLG reduces their pricing as this wonderful brick is very fast becoming unattainable for a lot of people and I feel this is the best toy out there as it lasts and you can create what ever you like from it and it should be more accessible. I realise a lot of thought and planning etc goes into every set but please LEGO don't make it so expensive!! So much has happened with Sophie & Henry's story - the triplets have aged up and they totally don't fit in their cribs anymore (and they really don't need a nappy change table either). So it's time to renovate the baby rooms into toddler / child rooms to suit their personalities and Violet (as the only girl) gets her own room! A hospital! A Lego hospital for Heartlake City! There are a bazillion wonderful details in this build and I've sped up the dull bits and slowed down the interesting ones. There's a new LEGO Friends baby, a fabulous doctor, a wheelchair, a pram / stroller, a baby crib and well, too much to write about here so you'll have to watch the video. The designers have outdone themselves with all ability / disability access toilets and entrances to the hospital, a baby change table in the bathroom, a rock-able cradle, an arm and head bandage, I could go on and on and on. I think I'm going to need a couple of Heartlake Hospitals so I can do some modifications, add some wards, I have so many plans! I hope you enjoy the build, it's a fabulous one. Part 2 🤍 The LEGO® Friends Heartlake Hospital has 3 floors of medical rooms and equipment to help care for patients. There’s a nursery with crib and weighing scales, an x-ray suite with scanner and lightbox, and an examination room with a bed and microscope for checking samples. The downstairs waiting room has a reception desk and vending machine as well as an emergency entrance for those arriving by ambulance or helicopter. Includes 3 mini-doll figures plus a newborn baby figure. Includes 3 mini-doll figures: Olivia in a nurse’s uniform, Henry and Dr. Patel, plus a newborn baby Ola figure. Features a 3-story, modular hospital, helicopter with stretcher, ambulance with wheeled stretcher, wheelchair, stroller, medical cart and a bicycle. Hospital features a waiting room with sliding doors, reception desk, seating area, vending machine, water cooler and an aquarium; an emergency entrance with swing doors; an x-ray suite with a revolving bed, scanner, lightbox and skeleton; a nursery with rocking crib, weighing scales and bathroom area with changing table; an examination room with bed, heart monitor and microscope; and a helipad. Accessory elements include an arm cast, x-ray tiles, magnifying glass, sample bottles, scissors, wet floor sign and a feeding bottle. Jump into action as the ambulance arrives and rush the patient through the emergency entrance. Take an x-ray of Henry’s arm and put his arm in a cast to heal. Enjoy feeding and weighing the newborn baby in the nursery. Help the doctor treat the patients as she does her rounds with the medical cart. Invent endless stories around caring and nurturing people back to health. Build and rebuild this modular set in many different ways. The newly multicultural Heartlake City is now the proud owner of an International School. According to the first episode of the newly rebooted Lego Friends, this is where they all meet and the humour and detail built into the set is heaps of fun to both build and play with. These surprise winter sets from Lego Friends are wonderful, this one has a lot of interesting building techniques, as well as being really visually interesting. The inclusion of Aaron who is mobility impaired and uses two walking sticks is really great, and he doesn't miss out on his time on the slopes - he has a converted ski mobile! What we don't have in proper Lego minidoll form is couture ballgowns for the Lego Friends line. And I think that they could really do with some. So I set about making them some, then they can be used for prom dresses, red carpet openings, met ball appearances, whatever. A lot of you have asked me how I sort and store my LEGO Friends, Disney Princess, Elves and DC Superheroes minidolls and minifigures and all their accessories . Well, I have a system that works for me at the moment for the pieces that I currently have (that haven't disappeared into my chiidrens' rooms). This way I can easily see what I have duplicates of if I want to do a repaint or create a new minifigure. And I can also easily lay my hands on special pieces to modify my builds.There are so many accessories and so many different minidolls now, when did that happen? I decided that this year's Lego Friend advent calendar required its own custom Christmas house to put all the daily builds into - it's THAT good a calendar 😁. So I tried to replicate (mostly-ish) the picture on the fold out bit of the box because its was so homey and warm (and cute). I mostly followed the idea, what do you think?
