Horizon Zero Dawn is set in a post-apocalyptic United States, between the states of Colorado, Wyoming and Utah, in the 31st century. Humans live in scattered, primitive tribes with varying levels of technological development. Their technologically advanced predecessors are remembered as the "Old Ones". Large robotic creatures, known as "machines", dominate the Earth. For the most part, they peacefully coexist with humans, who occasionally hunt them for parts. However, a phenomenon known as the "Derangement" has caused machines to become more aggressive towards humans, and larger and deadlier machines have begun to appear. Corruption Zones constitute areas that heighten difficulty and are populated by infected Machines that behave with more aggression. To uncover more of the map, one must scale large giraffe-like creatures known as Tallnecks. Twenty-five robotic creature designs are present in the game. Save points and fast travel can be accessed by interacting with campfires, once discovered. As a child, she obtained a Focus, a small augmented reality device that gives her special perceptive abilities. After coming of age, Aloy enters a competition called the Proving to win the right to become a Nora Brave, and by extension, a member of the Nora tribe. Aloy wins the competition, but the Nora are attacked by cultists. Aloy is almost killed by their leader, Helis, but is saved by Rost, who sacrifices himself to save her. When Aloy awakes, a Matriarch explains that the cultists had gained control of corrupted machines. Aloy learns that as an infant, she was found at the foot of a sealed door. Oseram foreigner Olin informs Aloy that the cultists are part of a group called the Eclipse, and indicates that Aloy was targeted due to her resemblance to an Old World scientist named Dr. Elisabet Sobeck. Aloy locates the remnants of the company Faro Automated Solutions and discovers that the old world was destroyed nearly 1,000 years ago after Faro lost control of its automated "peacekeeper" military robots. The robots, which could self-replicate and consumed biomass as fuel, overran the planet and consumed the biosphere, stripping Earth of all life. A small collection of my animations from Horizon Zero Dawn for Sony Playstation 4. I was the lead animator during the 6 year development of the project, focussing full time on the robots in-game making sure the style, look and feel of the robots stayed consistent by the team. 6 years is a long period, so I picked a handfull of animations that showed a wide variaty of motion and action on the robots I was mostly focussed on myself. Big thanks to the entire team at Guerrilla Games for all the hard work and dedication the last couple of years. HORIZON ZERO DAWN PC All Cutscenes (Game Movie) 4K 60FPS ULTRA HD Remember to Subscribe and hit the bell! The Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition has released on PC. There were some glitches here and there, and the lip syncing is still pretty bad, but not of that is enough to really hate on this amazing game. It looks beautiful and the gameplay still holds up well 3 years later. Definitely worth the replay! We just played it on "Story" difficulty this time around, just to get through it quicker. As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to stitch together a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy! The story is set in the 31st century, in a world where humans live in scattered tribal-like populations with limited access to technology. Their technologically advanced predecessors are remembered as the "Old Ones". Large robotic creatures, known as "machines", dominate the Earth. For the most part, they peacefully coexist with humans, who occasionally hunt them for parts. However, a phenomenon known as the "Derangement" has caused machines to become more aggressive towards humans, and larger and deadlier machines have begun to appear. There are three tribes that are prominently featured: the Nora, the Carja, and the Oseram. The Nora are fierce hunter-gatherers who live in the mountains and worship nature as the "All-Mother". The Carja are desert-dwelling city builders who worship the Sun. The Oseram are tinkerers known for their metalworking, brewing, and arguing.
