Free FIR Convolution reverb & more coming soon from GPU AUDIO. Currently Windows, NVIDIA, and VST3 only. Mac, AU, and AMD support coming. #FreePlugins #FreePluginAlert What makes this plugin (and the future plugins) special is that they are coded to use the GPU to process audio. This unleashes the DSP you already have in you computer that is underutilized in current day DAWs and plugins. Why buy an expensive DSP interface and expensive DSP plugins, when every computer already has loads of processing power that is not being used - your GPU (video card). By using the GPU you are able to achieve extremely low latency even at high track counts. Imagine being able to use all of your plugins LIVE or while recording and not worrying about buffer errors and latency. Imagine being able to livestream with your favorite plugins and monitor the signal in real time! This is a revolutionary advancement for audio production! And while these products are still in early beta, the future is looking bright for musicians and producers. Even if you can't use the current reverb plugin, you should still sign up to get updates when other platforms are supported and when the GPU AUDIO DAW is released. ▶️Check it out here: 🤍 ▶️MORE FREE PLUGINS 🤍 ▶Our Links Website 🤍 EPIC Plugin Deals 🤍 Buy your studio gear: 🤍 SUBSCRIBE ::: LIKE ::: COMMENT

In this video, I take a look at an early version of an interesting development - GPU Audio, which promises the ability to harness the huge processing potential of a GPU for audio processing from within any application that uses VST plugins. It's very early days for this software, but it has some promising signs. I look at the plugin which is currently availble - an impulse response reverb - and compare it to a native plugin with the same IR, on my DAW. Testing done with version 0.9.7.0 - This will be updated regularly, according to GPU Audio. GPU Audio: Binaural Impulse Response Pack Vol 01 - Presets No Talking, on Roland SP-404 MKII

Download the latest Impulse Response Packs HERE for FREE: 🤍 Discord: 🤍 Description: For the GPU AUDIO community: Since the Early Access Plugin requires manual changing on the Impulse Response folder, we wanted to share a quick video, with NO TALKING, to let you hear what these IR's sound like. Volume 01 is a collection of 10 of our favorite IRs from a recent free release by the Sonic Palimpsest, and give a binaural impression of the Chatham Dockyards in Kent, UK. These IR's are mostly binaural, which means you'll need to wear headphones to get the 3-D effect of the reverb signal. The stereo samples are played, and the reverb itself simulates a binaurally rendered space (cool!). If you are on an Apple device with airpods, make sure to turn *OFF* their spatial audio setting, or it will filter out the natural binaural wraparound of these stereo recordings :) For this demo, we used our Roland SP-404MKII and messed around with some stock sample patches. One of the things we love about convolution reverb is how different filtered frequencies react to the space. Please like, comment and sub so we can start going live with ya'll soon :)

We make audio interfaces, and that's all we do. It's the job of an audio interface to sit between you and your sound being shared with the world, and we're the best in the world at making that happen. But what does it mean to make the best audio interfaces in the world? The best interface should help you record your sound, exactly as it is. It should be ready to go when you are, never skipping a beat. It should be easy to use, removing pointless technical barriers that get in the way of you enriching yours and others' lives through music. We want to help you do this. We want to make music easier to make. We believe in a world where all musicians are able to record their own sound with ease. If we can remove pointless complexity, and in some way, inspire you to record, enable you to do so and support you on your journey, then our work here is done. Of course, we didn't always make audio interfaces. There wasn't always a computer! But those same principles applied. Back in the 80s, we made consoles. 12 to be precise. Probably the best sounding consoles ever made. It's a good story and one that has made us laugh and cry. If you've got a spare hour, perhaps it will inspire you. We're not alone on our mission. We have seven sister brands focussed on the same thing, but in different ways.

He is a computer scientist and engineer (dedicated 2 years in doctoral research related to HPC area in a top Russian engineering university) and an experienced developer manager. He is one of the authors of GPU AUDIO technology and its architect. Spending his last 5 years in the Pro Audio industry, performing market research and analysis, building business networks, he proved his value as an entrepreneur, a people organizer (co-organized a team of 15 professionals), and a fundraiser (4 deals closed). For the past few decades, the idea of utilizing the power of GPU for sound processing purposes amounted to not more than a pipe dream. Although there were a few commercial attempts to build GPU-powered products - mostly CUDA and OpenCL - none of them were able to overcome the 10-20 millisecond latency buffer, or run at least ten instances simultaneously, meaning that different products (at the time meaning Acustica Audio and LiquidSonics products, Nils Schneider's reverb) could not work simultaneously on the same GPU. The only thing that was proved at that time is that there are a myriad of fundamental computer science problems that must be resolved, or better yet avoided, before any GPU-powered Pro Audio solution or product can be developed. And of course, adding to that the many more engineering problems that must be resolved to make it stable and reliable in terms of DPC, different hardware setups, etc. - well, there is no wonder many gave up on the concept for so many years. One of the foundational reasons it was impossible to bring tens, hundreds, or even thousands of GPU-based DSP tasks running together is that originally, a GPU is a SIM(D/T) device. Our approach comes at this problem by considering how one can actually work the SIMD device to act as a pseudo-MIMD for this purpose, which is something you can't do with any modern GPU SDK. Another innate problem is that there is no SDK API that allows you to transfer and dispatch data for these hundreds of instances of task chains with differently typed (and furtherly dispatched) data, so you have to figure out how to pack them and run them optimally, so it can be done within the realtime (1-2 msec) latency scope. By resolving these fundamental issues mentioned above, we open the pathway to succeeding, but at the same time we open the door to many other issues to be resolved, such as how to make GPU isolated from other processes in order to operate in low-latency mode, how to "offload graphics / GUI work" from the powerful GPU so it can handle the Pro Audio stuff etc. And this is before we even touch the DSP part yet, as there are lots of low-level code problems related to the recursive nature of most algorithms, e.g. IIR. The good news? We’ve found a way to handle it and are doing it now. By solving this entire set of these problems, a new Pro Audio computing standard called GPU AUDIO arises and we are proud to present it on YouTube for the first time ever. Let's discuss the what, the how and the why, and ultimately get into who we believe this is for and how it can revolutionize workflows and beyond! Volume 02 is a collection of 10 of our favorite IRs from two free IR libraries. The first few are by Balance Mastering, and are IRs of the famous Teufelsberg NSA Listening Tower in Berlin. The last few are by Angelo Farina, a leader in spatial audio research.

But it was in 2008 that our CEO, David Packouz, had the idea that would put us on the map as one of the music industry’s most innovative gear manufacturers. That year, he was working on his album. But the music felt empty. His songs needed a beat. The problem was, the drummers he knew weren’t reliable, and the drum machines he tried sounded flat and soulless. On top of that, they required hands to operate, which made it impossible to play guitar at the same time. There had to be a solution. It was then that David came up with the idea for the BeatBuddy drum machine pedal. He rushed to tell his brother, Eli Packouz, and the two joined forces in search of the perfect drum device. Thus began a grueling 3 years of R&D. After finally completing the development phase, the two turned to crowdfunding to help bring the BeatBuddy to market. Beginning with a $75,000 goal, they quickly blew past it, raising close to $350,000 in the first 24 hours. At the time, this made Singular Sound the most successful music gear crowdfunding campaign. It even put us in the top 50 most funded campaigns across Indiegogo’s entire database. But we didn’t stop there. Since launching the BeatBuddy, we’ve continued to bring innovation to all sectors of the gear industry. For instance, we created the Cabli, our audio cable management device. It cuts the time needed to store and unpack cables in half by winding and unwinding both ends at the same time. We created the MIDI Maestro, a next-gen MIDI foot controller which makes taking control of your gear more accessible and convenient than ever before. It comes alongside a mobile app, and has built-in screens, giving you clear direction on the controls. No more writing with a sharpie or trying to jog your memory. And our latest innovation, the Aeros Loop Studio. With it, we’ve brought never before seen hardware and software advancements to the classic looper pedal. It includes a gorgeous touch screen display to visualize each element of your song. Plus: easy, over the air updates that constantly add new functionality. Its diverse line of features make the Aeros the best looper pedal in the industry.
