In this video I will show you my application of a late war camouflage on my Panther II model. I adopt a Panzer II camo pattern from Tony Greenland. There was a Panther II build shown in his book "Panzer Modelling" from 2001. This camouflage pattern inspired me to use it for my own project. The stencil painting was not really funny and the next time I have to use a more flexible material for the stencil. I like the color combination and it is a good base for the weathering process in the next episode. Here is my take on the Orange Box Tiger from Cyber-Hobby 9142. Some really good stuff for the price it was meant to be at, but now that it's a bit rarer I thought people should know it has some hang ups.
It's a sad attempt from Dragon to bodge together sprues from older kits. The problem is that they've also bodged together the instructions and had them half size. I forgot to mention in the video, either the lower hull tub or the upper hull deck were twisted, but they didn't fit together properly, in the end not a major problem, but just another issue on the list with this kit. Also, there does not seem to be any rear tow points according to these instructions.

This time I will show you my fight with an outdated 1/35 scale model kit from CyberHobby/Dragon. This Panther II kit has a lot of development fails. Bad molding, less detailing, wrong measurements and bad fitting. If you have enough ambition to fix all of this problems, than this kit is perfect for the advanced scale modeler. This thing is not for newbies. No fun build for a weekend. I will show you some solutions to put this broken kit on a satisfying level.

In this final episode of my " What If.." Panther II project, I finish the tank with a bunch of weathering procedures. During a sleepless night I had doubts about the weld seam on the commander's cupola. Ok, I checked the facts about the "Schmalturm" and right there are no evidence of existence. So I decided to erase my self made mistake. You can see the result in this video. This project was a little bit stressing cause of the kit and the temperatures this summer. Scale modelling in the summertime is a pain in the ... but I´m glad about the result. We are going to build the Curtiss SB2C-4 Helldiver scale model from start to finish. The kit is in 1/72 scale and is made by Cyber Hobby (Dragon). We are going to go trough the cockpit assembly, painting and weathering. Then we are going to assemble the airframe, deal with the seams and put some primer on it. After that we are going to paint the cmouflage and weather the scale model. Finally we are going to put together all the small sub assemblies and finish our build. They show him in Tiger, a "Mid-Production" Vehicle number 217. As a tank commander, he was one of the best tankers, destroying more than 150 enemy tanks.
